Data Quality and Relevance
High-quality, relevant content leads to better chatbot answers. Keep it accurate, complete, and current.
Your chatbot answers from the content you train it on, so the quality of that content directly shapes the quality of its replies. Aim for content that is accurate, complete, and current.
What "good content" means
| Quality | What it means | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Accurate | Correct, up-to-date facts. Remove stale pages and contradictory documents. | Wrong or outdated information leads to wrong answers and erodes trust. |
| Complete | Covers the topics customers actually ask about, products, policies, pricing, support steps. | The more relevant ground you cover, the more questions the chatbot answers without a handoff. |
| Current | Updated whenever a policy, price, or product changes. | Keeps answers right as your business changes. |
Do this in ChatFlow
Add and improve your chatbot's knowledge with the tools that fit your content:
- Train with your website, broad coverage of your public pages.
- Upload documents, manuals, policies, and guides.
- Add FAQs, exact answers to your most common questions.
Then test in the Playground to confirm the answers hold up before customers see them.
Less, but better
A few clean, accurate sources beat a large pile of overlapping or outdated ones. Prune content that no longer reflects your business so the chatbot is not torn between conflicting answers.
